SCHOOL:  Marietta High School

CITY, STATE: Marietta, GA

NEWS:

Arik Gilbert is a four-star athlete from Marietta Georgia. He towers people at 6-5 232 and ranks as the No. 1 ATH and the No. 2 prospect in Georgia for 2020. Gilbert holds 22 offers with the latest coming from Kentucky on March 27. He recently took a visit to Miami on March 12 and Tennessee on March 31. However, Georgia appears to be the team to beat. Georgia needs big, stout players like Gilbert and offer playing time if he competes hard enough. Could be a perfect match made in heaven.

Gilbert runs a 4.69 40-yard dash and carries his weight well. He mostly plays on offense and shows great promise at wide receiver. Gilbert has a great downfield blocking ability. He looks a lot faster than 4.6 on his film, and he makes folks miss. This one is still young, but will make an impact at the next level, as he has the ‘it’ factor.

NEWS:

Tank Bigsby is a four-star athlete from Callaway High School in Hogansville, Georgia. He stands at 6-0 195 and ranks as the No. 3 ATH and the No. 7 prospect in Georgia for the 2020 class. Bigsby holds 21 offers with the latest coming from Arkansas on February 8th. He hasn’t taken any visits lately but according to his 247 Sports profile, Georgia is the team to beat.

Bigsby is quick! He has great burst of speed which makes him hard to tackle. Bigsby appears to have a high football IQ and reads plays well. He anticipates his hole when he’s the running back and looking at his tape it appears hard for anyone to tackle him. His cuts are clean and he’s just so agile. Bisgby appears to want to play running back at the next level and should shine at that position.
