TODAY’S FEATURED PROSPECTS

Jayden Daniels

CLASS: 2019

POSITION: Dual Threat Quarterback

HT, WT: 6-2 165

SCHOOL: Cajon High School

CITY, STATE: San Bernardino, California

STATUS: Undeclared

# OF OFFERS: 21 offers

UGA OFFER: Yes, February 5, 2018

NEWS:

Jayden Daniels is a four-star dual threat quarterback from San Bernardino, California. He ranks as the No. 2 dual-threat quarterback and the No. 14 prospect in California. Daniels is a true dual threat, he can tuck and run the ball, but also air it out. He’s got a killer arm and throws crisps passes. However, he can also make defenders miss him with his ability to run the ball. He’s agile and quick, shows great vision of the field, and is a top-notch prospect.

USC appears to be in the lead, however, Georiga offered him on February 5. I think this guy recruiting, will come down to at least the early signing period.

David Baldwin

CLASS: 2019

POSITION: Dual Threat Quarterback

HT, WT: 6-3, 170

SCHOOL: IMG Academy

CITY, STATE: Bradenton, Florida

STATUS: Undeclared

# OF OFFERS: 9 offers

UGA OFFER: Yes, January 29, 2018

NEWS:

David Baldwin is a three-star dual-threat quarterback that plays at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He ranks as the No. 11 dual-threat quarterback and the No. 61 prospect in Florida. For a three-star, Baldwin, in my opinion, is underrated. He may not be the fastest dual-threat guy on the ground, but his football IQ is way up there. Baldwin sees the field well and makes plays happen. Not to mention he’s got a cannon for an arm. Baldwin can also sit in the pocket well, and make accurate throws, and his wheel outs to the left and right are quite impressive.

With just nine offers, Baldwin should blow up this season. I expect many more offers to come his way. Georgia offered on January 29 but he also holds offers from Florida, LSU, and Missouri in the SEC. I think Georgia has a shot at this guy but must put forth the effort. His size would fit into Georiga’s scheme well and could be a great addition to the quarterback group.

Michael Johnson Jr.

CLASS: 2019

POSITION: Dual Threat Quarterback

HT, WT: 6-4, 190

SCHOOL: Sheldon High School

CITY, STATE: Eugene, Oregon

STATUS: Undeclared

# OF OFFERS: 25 offers

UGA OFFER: Yes, May 22, 2017

NEWS:

Michael Johnson Jr. is a four-star dual threat quarterback from Sheldon High School in Eugene, Oregon. He ranks as the No. 4 dual-threat quarterback and the No. prospect in Oregon. The first thing I notice, he isn’t affected by pressure and can take a hit in the pocket. He can roll out to either side and outrun defenders and throws accurate balls. Johnson Jr has great vision on the field and a strong arm. Out of the three guys listed today, he appears to be the fastest one. He can make something out of nothing and is patient on play development.

Johnson Jr. is a highly sought after quarterback with 25 offers. Oregon, Michigan, and Miami appear to be the top three, but he’s such a talented guy this recruitment could stay open for a while. Georgia offered last summer, but to my knowledge, he hasn’t visited Athens. So the big question is, could he play in the SEC? As of right now I think maybe but would have to see how his senior season develops.
