Master Teague has narrowed down his decision to his final schools and revealed the list of those three schools on Wednesday afternoon. It was comprised of all SEC programs including Auburn, Georgia, and Tennessee.

Master W. Teague III is a 5 foot 10.5 and 214 lbs class of 2018 running back out of Blackman High School in Murfreesboro, TN who the Bulldogs offered back on March 14, 2017. Teague took an unofficial visit to the University of Georgia a month later on April 14th. He is one of 17 running backs that the Georgia coaching staff has offered for 2018.

While Teague is rated a three-star prospect by ESPN, Rivals, and Scout, he is considered a four-star prospect by 247 Sports and a top-10 running back for 2018. But don’t let those rankings and ratings fool you. The talented athlete has clocked an unofficial fast forty time of 4.37 seconds, has a SPARQ rating from Nike The Opening of 114.6, and he can bench press 340 lbs and squat 500 lbs. Those numbers point to a back who has both power and speed, which was on show during Teague’s junior season when he carried the ball 241 times for 2,031 yards and 24 touchdowns for the Blaze. And a number of FBS college programs have recognized the potential of Teague’s talent as he has over 23 scholarship offers currently.

Although no timetable or date has been set to announce his final decision, it is expected that Teague will make it soon. And while Zamir White, who many consider the No. 1 running back for 2018, has gotten a lot of attention, all signs point to the Bulldogs taking two running backs in this recruiting class. If Georgia were to sign both Teague and White, it would continue the tradition of signing two stellar tailbacks in a class like Nick Chubb and Sony Michel in 2014 and Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall in 2012. It would also shore up the Bulldogs’ running back depth chart for 2018 and 2019 which could look like Brian Herrien, Elijah Holyfield, D’Andre Swift along with Teague and White.
