Georgia Remains 12th in Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters


[su_spacer size=”20″] The Georgia men’s golf team remained 12th after the second round of the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters.
[su_spacer size=”40″] On Tuesday, the Bulldogs looped Southern Highlands Golf Club in 5-over-par 293 for a total of 10-over 586. Oklahoma State has the team lead at 18-under 558.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Junior Lee McCoy paced the Bulldogs on Tuesday with a 3-under 69. Junior Sepp Straka added an even-par 72, while senior Nicholas Reach signed for a 3-over 75, and senior Mookie DeMoss and sophomore Greyson Sigg each posted a 5-over 77.
[su_spacer size=”40″] McCoy is sixth individually at 5-under 139, three shots behind UNLV’s Redford Bobbitt and Alabama’s Robby Shelton (136). Straka moved 3-over 147, followed by Reach and Sigg at 6-over 150, and DeMoss at 11-over 155.
