MEN’S GOLF: Georgia Sits in 4th after Round 1 of Querencia Cabo Intercollegiate

The Georgia men’s golf team sits in 4th-place after Sunday’s round one of the Querencia Cabo Collegiate tournament in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
 
 
On Sunday, the Bulldogs fired a 3-under-par 281 and they are eight shots behind co-leaders Oklahoma State and Texas (11-under 273). Wake Forest is third at 7-under 277, with the Bulldogs and Baylor tied at 3-under 281.
 
 
Freshman Spencer Ralston paced the Bulldogs on Sunday as he fired a 3-under 68. Ralston is seventh individually, three shy of Wake Forest’s Paul McBride (6-under 65). Senior Greyson Sigg is 16th at 1-under 70.
 
 
Georgia also counted an even-par 71 from sophomore Tye Waller and a 1-over 72 from sophomore Jack Larkin Jr. Senior Jaime Lopez Rivarola had the Bulldogs’ throw-out score of 4-over 75.
