The Georgia men’s golf team will begin play in the Linger Longer Invitational at the Great Waters at Reynolds Lake Oconee in Greensboro today at 8:30 a.m. ET. The tournament will conclude on Tuesday after three rounds of play from each team.

The Bulldogs will use a lineup of senior Greyson Sigg, junior Zach Healy, sophomore Tye Waller, and freshmen Trevor Phillips and Spencer Ralston.

Senior Jaime Lopez Rivarola, sophomore Jack Larkin Jr. and freshman Will Chandler will play as individuals.

Joining the Bulldogs and co-hosts Kennesaw State and Mercer will be Alabama, Augusta, Baylor, Charlotte, Maryland, Michigan, Middle Tennessee State, Ohio State, Troy, Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth, and UNC Greensboro.

Last season, Georgia finished tied for second, three shots back of champion Alabama. Lee McCoy successfully defended his 2015 individual title, finishing with a three-round total of 9-under 207. The Bulldogs have won the event four times, most recently in 2014.
