ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia men’s golf team will resume the spring portion of its schedule this week in the 13th annual Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate Tournament on Hilton Head Island, S.C.

The tournament will be played Monday and Tuesday on the Wexford Plantation course, which is a par-72, 6,913-yard layout. The teams will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday, with shotgun starts slated for each day at 8:15 a.m.

Joining the Bulldogs and host Francis Marion will be Akron, Charleston Southern, Cleveland State, Dartmouth College, Davidson, Dayton, Furman, Gardner-Webb, High Point, Memphis, Mercer, Presbyterian, Radford, USC-Aiken, TCU and Wofford.

Georgia will use a lineup of senior Zach Healy, junior David Mackey, sophomores Trevor Phillips and Spencer Ralston, and freshman Davis Thompson. Ralston leads the Bulldogs with a 71.11 scoring average, followed by Phillips at 72.11, Healy at 72.92, Thompson at 73.47 and Mackey at 74.00.

“We saw a lot of positives in Puerto Rico with this lineup, and we are sure we can build on those,” said Georgia coach Chris Haack, who was inducted Saturday into the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame. “We’re confident, we’ve picked up some momentum, and we’re excited about the opportunity to compete again. We’re really looking forward to this tournament.”
