Georgia junior Harang Lee has been selected as the co-Golfer of the Week for the Southeastern Conference by the league office in Birmingham, Alabama.

Lee shot 3-under 69 in the stroke play qualifying round to finish second individually and lead Georgia to a second-place finish in team field, which featured the nation’s top-7 teams. Lee then posted a perfect 3-0 record in match play for the Bulldogs.

Those performances pushed Lee to No. 2 in Golfstat’s individual national rankings. She now sports a 72.00 stroke average for the season, with 14 par-or-better efforts and seven scores in the 60s in 26 rounds. Lee has posted seven top-10 and nine top-20 individual finishes in 10 tournament during the 2015-16 campaign. She also leads the Bulldogs with 90 birdies.

Lee shared the honor with Alabama’s Emma Talley, who shot 1-under 71 in Liz Murphey qualifying and was 3-0 in match play while leading the Crimson Tide to the event’s team title.

Lee’s recognition is Georgia’s third of the spring. Two weeks ago, Jillian Hollis was named Golfer of the Week and Bailey Tardy was tabbed SEC Freshman of the Week.
