After strong performances in the first semifinal session, the three Gymdog seniors – Brandi Jay, Brittany Rogers and Mary Beth Box – were recognized with All-America honors.

The All-America teams were determined by score, with the top four finishers in each session being named to the first team, and finishers five through eight were named to the second team. Individual titles will be given to the gymnasts with the overall highest score in each event after the conclusion of the second session.

First-teamers Brandie Jay and Brittany Rogers each lead the way for an individual title through one session, with Jay claiming the best score on vault in the first session, 9.95. Rogers, who claimed a 9.95 on bars, is tied for the lead after the first session.

The Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada native Rogers also qualified as a first-team All-American on vault, finishing third with a 9.9. She added to her list of honors with a second-team nod in the all-around after earning a 39.4125.

Mary Beth Box reached second-team All-America status after her 9.875 on floor, which she received after fighting through technical difficulties as her music cut out midway through her routine.

Jay and Rogers will find out if they are individual event champions in a matter of hours, as the second semifinal will begin at 8 pm ET.
