Gymdog seniors Morgan Reynolds, Beth Roberts and Rachel Schick combined to claim four Georgia gymnastics team awards, announced at a reception on Sunday.

Reynolds, a native of Athens, won Team MVP as well as the Anysia Unick “All In” Award. In her first season competing in all four events for the Gymdogs, Reynolds posted season highs of 9.9 on vault, 9.875 on bars, 9.825 on beam, 9.9 on floor and 39.4 for all-around. The team’s 2016 Most Inspirational Performance Award winner totaled three event titles in 2017 – two on vault and one for all-around.

Schick, a Rancho Cucamonga, California native, won the Suzanne Yoculan “No Dream Too Big” Award. Schick, a two-event competitor for Georgia, was named SEC Event Specialist of the Week on Jan. 17 following a two-meet weekend in which she posted three career highs and won three event titles in four routines. Schick claimed career highs of 9.925 on both events, both set this past season and earned Second Team All-America honors at the NCAA Championships in St. Louis.

Roberts, a Tifton, Georgia native, won the team’s Most Improved Award. She entered her senior season with eight career routines and became a fixture in both the vault and floor lineups, earning season RQS marks of 9.78 on vault and 9.81 on floor. Roberts claimed a vault season high of 9.825 and a floor high of 9.85.

The three seniors join Gracie Cherrey, the team’s Scholar-Athlete Award winner, as this year’s award recipients. Cherrey’s honor was received at the UGA Athletics Banquet last week.
