The 9th-ranked Gymdogs will host No. 10 Kentucky tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET in Athens, GA at the Stegeman Coliseum.

The meet will be a “redout” for National Wear Red Day, dedicated to raising awareness for women’s heart health. All fans are encouraged to wear red to the meet.

“Women’s heart health is such an important issue,” said Georgia gymnastics head coach Danna Durante. “With stroke and heart disease causing one in three deaths for women in the United States each year, it’s our responsibility to do whatever we can to help raise awareness and support those who have been affected by heart-related issues. We’re thankful for the ability to extend that support and bring attention to women’s heart health.”

The Gymdogs enter Friday’s meet on a four-meet win streak and with a perfect 3-0 record at home. Georgia posted its best score of the season last Friday as it claimed a 197.075-196.075 win over Missouri.

Freshman Rachel Dickson had the best meet of her young career in the win, setting career highs in all four events and in the all around while winning event titles on vault (9.9), bars (9.925) and floor (9.95) as well as the all-around crown (39.525).

Senior Morgan Reynolds debuted her moonwalk on beam to a 9.825, and she also posted a career best on bars (9.85) and finished with a 39.4 in her first all-around as a Gymdog.

Georgia looks to finish off a perfect homestand with a win on Friday against Kentucky, a team that has never defeated the Gymdogs. UGA holds an all-time advantage of 80-0-1 against the Wildcats, including 7-0-1 under Durante’s guidance.
