The Georgia gymnastics team will preview its 2016 routines at the annual Sneak Peek Friday at the Suzanne Yoculan Gymnastics Center.

The meet will provide fans the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the 2016 Gymdogs before the season opens on Jan. 9. The event begins at 7 p.m. and admission is free.

“This will be a good measuring stick to see where we are going into the break,” said Georgia coach Danna Durante. “I think the athletes are excited about being back on the floor again and competing, then we’ll have approximately two weeks when we come back after the break before the first meet.”

Fans will also have the opportunity to join the Ten-O Club and purchase Georgia gymnastics apparel in the Stegeman Coliseum Training Facility.

“The fans are going to enjoy seeing the freshmen and getting a close look at the team,” Durante said. “Sneak Peek is always an intimate setting for the fans, and it will be exciting to see the athletes up close and interact with them.”

Georgia will travel to Michigan for the season-opener on Jan. 9, and the first home meet is slated for Jan. 18 vs. Stanford.
