Georgia Soccer Hosts Mississippi State For a Thursday Night Bulldog vs. Bulldog Showdown

Georgia soccer hosts Mississippi State for a Bulldogs vs. Bulldogs showdown Thursday night at the Turner Soccer Complex starting at 7:00 p.m. ET.

 
The Lady Bulldogs will then continue SEC action on the road, traveling to face the Gamecocks of South Carolina (13-1, 7-0 SEC) on Sunday, October 22 at 6 p.m. at Stone Stadium.

Scouting the Other Bulldogs
 
Mississippi State is coming off a 3-2 double-overtime loss to Alabama after rallying behind a 2-0 deficit.
 
 
MaKayla Waldner is tied for second in the SEC in game-winning goals (4). Waldner is also fourth in the league in goals per game (0.58) and eighth in the SEC in goals scored (7).
 
 
Scouting the Gamecocks
 
South Carolina has spent seven weeks in the top-5 of the United Soccer Coaches Poll this season.
 
 
The Gamecocks are on an 11 game win streak and remain undefeated in conference play.

Thursday’s match against Mississippi State will serve as “Dollar Dog Night”. All hot dogs at the concession stand will be $1.
