SOCCER: Georgia vs. Vanderbilt Tomorrow

The No. 15 Georgia soccer team is back on the road to face the Vanderbilt Commodores in Nashville on Sunday.  The game will be broadcast live on ESPNU and is set to begin at 5 p.m. ET.

In Georgia’s last game the Bulldogs suffered their first loss of the season to the Auburn Tigers.  Although Georgia outshot its opponent, one goal off a penalty kick made the difference for the Tigers last Sunday.

The Commodores are coming off a double overtime win at Florida and have won four straight against the Bulldogs. Georgia dropped a 1-0 decision to the Commodores last season. The last time the Bulldogs traveled to Nashville to play Vanderbilt (in 2018), the team left with 5-0 loss.  That bad taste is still in the mouths of the upperclassmen with hopes of leaving with a better result. *Interviews with players and Coach Lesesne previewing this week’s matchup are available on georgiadogs.com*

Georgia will conclude its road games the following week at Ole Miss before the final regular season game against Missouri at home.  The SEC Tournament will take place in Orange Beach, Alabama from November 12-22.
