The No. 2 Auburn Tigers (45-5, 15-3) rallied to take a 2-1 win over the No. 12 Georgia softball team (37-13, 9-9) on Sunday, handing the Bulldogs their first sweep of the league season.

Georgia got off three hits in the game, including Alyssa DiCarlo recording her ninth home run of her freshman season. Cortni Emanuel and Maeve McGuire each reached base by way of a hit while Alex Hugo didn’t have an official at-bat after being walked three times.

Chelsea Wilkinson (21-4) took the loss after going the complete game with five hits and four walks allowed. Relief pitcher Rachael Walters (8-2) earned the win, coming in for the final three frames, giving up a walk.

Georgia jumped on the board in the fourth, as DiCarlo hit her second home run of the series off the light pole in left center. Wilkinson and the defense kept the Tigers off the board until the sixth, as the Tigers had two walks to open the frame. A double from Madi Gipson brought in the tying run before a RBI groundout by Courtney Shea gave the Tigers the winning run.

The last home series of the regular season is up next for Georgia, as the Bulldogs take on Ole Miss beginning on Friday. The three-game series can be viewed on SEC Network+/WatchESPN.
