GEORGIA SOFTBALL GAME NOTES

LAST TIME OUT: MISSOURI
The Bulldogs recorded its second SEC sweep of the year winning all three games at No. 14 Missouri. It was the first time since the Tigers joined the league that they had been swept in a conference series. Georgia outhit Missouri .393-.191 with 35 hits to the Tigers’ 13 while outscoring the home team 28-7. The Bulldogs got most of their run production from eight home runs, including four in game two’s run-rule win.

GEORGIA LEADING THE WAY IN NATIONAL TEAM STATS
There is no denying that Georgia holds a well-rounded team, and it is evident where the team ranks in numerous team statistics. The Bulldogs are first in the nation with a .369 batting average, as three individuals rank in the top 150 nationally. Georgia is also in the top 15 with a .450 on-base percentage, .555 slugging percentage, 7.29 runs per game, .810 win-loss percentage and 2.05 ERA.

IOSEFA LEADS NATION IN RBI
Carrying a league-best 14 home runs, Tina Iosefa’s bombs have made it easy for the senior to collect RBI this year. Iosefa holds a nation-best 56 RBI after boosting that number with six in the series at Missouri. The California native has 15 multi-RBI games this season, including tying her career high with six against Charleston Southern. Iosefa now has 183 career RBI and ranks sixth all-time. She needs just two more to jump Megan McAllister in the career rankings.
