The No. 16 Georgia softball team was set to open it’s 2020 season in the Red and Black Showcase in Athens at Jack Turner Softball Stadium on Thursday versus North Alabama, but that game has been moved to April 1st due to the threat of inclement weather being forecast.

But Georgia softball fans should not despair as the Red and Black Showcase is still on at Jack Turner Softball Stadium with six games over three doubleheaders on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The Bulldogs will face Howard on Friday at 3:30 p.m. ET followed by Kent State at approximately 6:00 p.m. in the first of the three doubleheaders.

Saturday’s action gets started with Georgia going up against Kent State again at 1:00 p.m. ET followed by UNC Wilmington at 3:00 p.m. The 2020 Red and Black Showcase will conclude on Sunday with Georgia vs. UNCW at 12:30 p.m. ET followed by the Dawgs vs. Howard at 3:00 p.m.

Admission is free to all six games over the weekend and all games will be on SEC Network+. You can follow along on Georgiadogs.com’s Live Stats as well as get updates on Georgia Softball on Twitter @UGASoftball.
