Georgia fell short 8-1 in game one of the weekend series against LSU at Jack Turner Stadium in Athens, Georgia.

“It’s disappointing with the outcome, disappointing with the moments that we didn’t win, but we’ll regroup, come back tomorrow, and see if we can’t go get out on top and honor Lu Harris-Champer with a great performance.”

The Bulldogs struggled offensively tonight and managed to salvage one run from four hits. The one run came from Jayda Kearney’s home run in the sixth inning.
