Behind solid pitching from the Bulldog staff along with the bat and speed of Sydni Emanuel, the No. 10 Georgia softball team moved to 8-0 on the season after posting two run-rule 9-0 wins over Stephen F. Austin and Jacksonville State on Saturday.

In the second day of the Disney Citrus Classic, S. Emanuel hit .750 with six total hits. The outfielder also tabbed four runs and a pair of stolen bases. On the other side of the ball, the pitchers and defense held its two opponents to a .083 average and just three combined hits, striking out 14 in the process.

The tournament at the ESPN Wide World of Sports of Complex finishes on Sunday, as Georgia takes on UAB at 12:15 p.m. ET. Live stats will be available with the link on georgiadogs.com.

GAME ONE—No. 10 Georgia 9, Stephen F. Austin 0 (6)

Chelsea Wilkinson (4-0) tossed the two-hit shutout, concluding her line with nine strikeouts. The senior closed out her time in the circle fanning the last eight batters after four innings of work. Kylie Bass closed the game out, keeping the Ladyjacks scoreless and hitless with one strikeout in two innings of action. Between the pair, the two hits were the only baserunners allowed in the game.

S. Emanuel had an outstanding game at the plate, notching a career-high four hits to go with two runs, a RBI and stolen base. The Georgia lineup capitalized on seven walks issued by SFA pitcher Makayla Sims and four SFA miscues.

GAME TWO—No. 10 Georgia 9, Jacksonville State 0 (5)

Two big offensive innings propelled the Bulldogs to its fourth win of the weekend, as S. Emanuel again led the team offensively.

The junior went 2-for-3, as the only multi-hit player of the contest, adding two runs and a stolen base. Kaylee Puailoa notched a team-best three RBI while Alex Hugo tallied two RBI with a double in the first inning and Alyssa DiCarlo had two RBI in the fourth frame with a hit to centerfield.

Brittany Gray (4-0) held the Gamecocks to a single hit while striking out two and walking a pair in her four innings in the circle. Bass again closed out the game, as she retired two of the three batters she faced with a strikeout.
