On Wednesday, during the Zone B Championships, Georgia diver McKensi Austin qualified for next week’s NCCA Championships for platform diving.

Austin finished eighth with 499.10 total points (246.90 in prelims and 252.20 in finals). Earlier in the meet, Austin qualified for the NCAAs with a ninth-place effort on the 3-meter springboard.

Austin and Olivia Ball (1-meter) will join 14 swimming teammates at the NCAAs next Wednesday through Saturday in Indianapolis.

Also Wednesday, Kelly Thatcher capped her Georgia career with a 24th-place finish with 205.70 points. Allison Greene came in 33rd with 176.25 points.

The Bulldogs did not have any entries on tower Wednesday. Charlie Clifton (1- and 3-meter springboard) and Ian Forlini (3-meter) qualified for the NCAAs previously. The Bulldogs will compete March 22-25, also in Indianapolis.
