Georgia divers Ian Forlini and Charlie Clifton qualified during the Zone B Championships at Auburn’s James E. Martin Aquatics Center for the upcoming NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.

 
 
The Zone B event marks the only way divers can advance to the NCAAs March 15-18 for the women and March 22-25 for the men, both in Indianapolis.
 
 
Needing top-10 efforts on men’s 3-meter springboard, Forlini placed fifth with 736.80 points, while Clifton came in seventh with 725.60. On Monday, Clifton qualified for the NCAAs with a fourth-place showing on 1-meter. Also Tuesday, Walker Wheeler finished 26th with 279.25 points.
 
 
On women’s 1-meter Tuesday, Olivia Ball came in 23rd with a score of 246.75, while Allison Greene placed 28th with 235.25. Ball and McKensi Austin will represent the Lady Bulldogs on 3-meter at the NCAAs.
 
 
The Lady Bulldogs have 14 swimmers going to the national competition. Clifton and Forlini’s swimming teammates for the NCAA meet will be announced on Wednesday.
 
 
The Zone B Championships will conclude on Wednesday with the men’s and women’s platform events at 11 a.m. Live results will be available on DiveMeets.com.
