Georgia’s Charlie Clifton and Zachary Allen finished first and second respectively on the 1-meter springboard to highlight the Bulldog’s showing on Thursday to begin the meet against Florida at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center Natatorium.

 
The No. 12 Bulldogs (4-0) accumulated 14 points to No. 3 Florida’s five, while the No. 20 Lady Gators lead the sixth-ranked Lady Bulldogs (4-0) 12-7. Georgia and Florida will resume the dual meet on Friday with all of the swimming events and the 3-meter springboard starting at 10 a.m. Friday’s action can be seen on SEC Network +.
 
 
Clifton rolled up 352.58 points on 1-meter to claim the top spot. Allen followed in second with a personal-best 349.35 points. Ian Forlini placed fifth with 274.43 points.
 
 
On the women’s side, McKensi Austin placed second on 1-meter with 282.38 points, while Olivia Ball was third with 269.93 points and Madison Duvall finished sixth with 240.98 points.
