UGA men’s tennis sophomore Walker Duncan has been named to the 2017 Southeastern Conference Community Service Team.

Duncan, a native of Atlanta, is a leader both on and off the court for the Bulldogs. He routinely volunteers in the community, helping with Georgia’s ‘Be the Match’ bone marrow initiative among other things. Duncan has also volunteered at local soup kitchens when he goes back home and helps teach tennis lessons to children.

Now in his second season on the Georgia men’s tennis team, Duncan has won 10-straight singles matches and nine consecutive doubles contests over the last month of the season. He is currently second on the team in overall singles wins with a 27-13 record, including an 11-1 mark against SEC opponents.

Duncan and the Bulldogs are busy prepping for the 2017 SEC Tournament, which is set to take place on April 26-30 in Knoxville, Tennessee. No. 2 Georgia will play the winner of the Arkansas vs. LSU contest on Friday, April 28 at Noon ET.
