The University of Georgia men’s tennis team — fresh off six-straight wins to end the 2021 regular season — has moved up to No. 9 nationally in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association Rankings that were released Wednesday.

Georgia jumped one spot after defeating No. 8-ranked Texas A&M and LSU this past weekend. The Bulldogs have won seven consecutive conference contests heading into next week’s SEC tournament.

In singles, Trent Bryde jumped to No. 12 nationally after being ranked No. 21 in the last rankings. Philip Henning, who is on a six-match win streak, is now ranked No. 18, while Tyler Zink stands at 31st.

Bryde and Zink — 2020 ITA All-Americans — lead Georgia with a No. 8 ranking in doubles, while Billy Rowe and Blake Croyder stand at No. 58.
