“Our guys are excited to be taking part in this very elite field,” Georgia head coach Manuel Diaz said. “We should be rested and ready to play some good tennis and expect a big challenge tomorrow. We have a young group here, but they are hungry.”

Opening the NCAA Singles Championships Round of 64 for Georgia is No. 19 Henning. He takes on Notre Dame’s 36th-ranked Axel Nefve tomorrow at 10 a.m. ET. Following at 11 a.m. ET will be the top-25 matchup between Bryde, Georgia’s top-ranked Dog at No. 15, and No. 25-ranked Alexis Galarneau of NC State. Zink will round out day one of individual competition for the Bulldogs; the 27th-ranked Bulldog takes on Illinois’ No. 114 Siphosothando Montsi at 1 p.m. ET.
