The Georgia women’s tennis team is set to host its third and final competition of the 2020 fall season with the Bulldog Invitational at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
 
The Bulldogs will play host to Kentucky, South Carolina and Florida. Competition will take place from Friday, Oct. 23 and conclude on Sunday, Oct. 25. The format will be a round robin tournament with Georgia linking up with Kentucky on day one, Florida day two and South Carolina day three. Matches will be best of three singles sets and six game sets in doubles.


 
Last time out, Georgia headed to Knoxville, Tenn. to partake in the UT Fall Invite with South Carolina, Vanderbilt and the Volunteers. The Bulldogs earned eight doubles wins and 16 singles wins over the course of the weekend. After two weekends of competition, three Bulldogs remain unbeaten in singles, senior Marta Gonzalez, junior Katarina Jokic and sophomore Meg Kowalski are all 6-0. Overall, Georgia is 18-3 in doubles play and 36-9 in singles.
 
Spectator attendance will be limited to guests of the respective team members via pass list. No other fans will be allowed inside the Dan Magill Tennis Complex during the Bulldog Invitational. Approved fans on the pass list should remain socially distant throughout the stadium. If matches are moved indoors, no spectators will be allowed inside the Lindsey Hopkins Indoor facility.
