WTENNIS: Dawg Earn Five Wins, Kowalski Undefeated

The Georgia women’s tennis team concluded its fall season after finishing the third day of the Bulldog Invitational picking up five wins in the final session.

The Bulldogs competed against South Carolina in singles, Meg Kowalski stayed undefeated in fall competition after beating Corina Spasojevic 6-1, 6-0 to go a perfect 9-0. Elena Christofi defeated Kendall Couch 6-0, 6-1. Freshman Ariana Arseneault went up against Gabriela Martinez and beat her 6-1, 6-1. Katarina Jokic matched up against Megan Davies and downed her 6-1, 6-2. Ania Hertel fell in her match against Emma Shelton 6-3, 6-2. Elise Mills defeated Alee Clayton 6-1, 6-2 and Morgan Coppoc was beaten 7-6(5), 6-0.

The Bulldogs conclude the fall season with 56 singles wins and 24 doubles wins, a total of 80.
