Georgia senior Ashinia Miller won his third consecutive meet in the shot put to wrap up the Florida Relays in Gainesville, Fla., on Saturday.

Miller, a native of Kingston, Jamaica, launched his opening throw 63 feet, 8 ¼ inches to win the competition by nearly two feet. His first attempt was his only fair throw in his six-throw series.

True freshman Denzel Comenentia had a second effort that measured 61-7.50 to earn second-place honors in the shot.

The Bulldogs improved their 2015 finish by one spot in the 4×800-meter relay to take second. Freshman Jeramey Hampton, senior Christian Harrison, sophomore Bryan Kamau and senior Kisean Smith combined to clock a 7:20.03.

Georgia hosts its second home meet of the year next week. The Bulldog Decathlon/Heptathlon will be run on Wednesday and Thursday and the annual Spec Towns Invitational will be on Friday and Saturday.
