[break] Three Georgia distance runners took to the track at the Camel City Elite meet in Winston-Salem, N.C., on Saturday as they continued their training for the postseason.

[break] [break] The Bulldogs are the rest of the collegiate and professional competition raced on the facility’s 200-meter flat track during part of the Hilton Garden “Innvitational.”
[break] [break] A week after setting the school record in the 3000-meter run, senior Brandon Lord was the second collegiate finisher and third overall in the event at the Camel City Elite meet.  Lord, who ran a 7:56.50 at last weekend’s McCravy Memorial, finished in 8:00.76 on Saturday for his second strong performance in a row.
[break] [break] Senior Charles Grethen finished seventh (also second collegian) in the 800 a week after clocking a personal best in the event.  Grethen completed his laps in 1:51.95, which is three seconds slower than the 1:48.96 he ran at the McCravy meet.
[break] [break] Senior Carly Hamilton was the only Lady Bulldog to compete over the weekend and took eighth in the mile and was again the second collegiate finisher.  The Springboro, Ohio, native ran a 4:49.27 in her second meet of the year after redshirting the cross country season.
[break] [break] Georgia returns to action as a full team at the Doc Hale VT Elite Meet in Blacksburg, Va., on February 6-7.
