The Bulldogs clicked defensively as well with six team blocks behind Lagler-Clark and redshirt senior Jasmine Eatmon having three apiece. Wake Forest powered through the second set with a .452 hitting mark to tie it at a set each.
[su_spacer size=”40″] Georgia pulled ahead 5-3 early out of the break before a 9-0 run for the Deacons put Georgia in a 12-5 deficit it wouldn’t be able to overcome. The home team finished things in the fourth with a 25-17 win. Back-to-back kills from sophomore Devan Porter helped Georgia close the gap at 18-14, but Wake Forest sealed the set and match on a 7-3 run.
