Coming off a 3-1 road win in Knoxville, TN over the Volunteers from Sunday, the Georgia women’s volleyball team returns home to host No. 18 Kentucky on Friday night for a 7:00 p.m. ET match in the Stegeman Coliseum. The Bulldogs upset the Wildcats, then ranked No. 12, in Lexington, 3-2, back on October 11th in their first meeting of the season.

Georgia comes into Friday’s match with an overall record 17-5 and 9-2 in conference play. So far, the Bulldogs are a perfect 7-0 in Stegeman this season.

Kentucky is 16-6 with a record of 9-2 in the SEC. The Wildcats have been solid on the road, posting a 5-1 away record this season.

Earlier this week, Georgia’s Meghan Donovan was named SEC Setter of the week and Kacie Evans SEC Freshman of the Week.

“Meghan is one of the best at what she does and is only continuing to get better.” It’s who she is and it spreads to everyone in the program. Her best volleyball is still ahead of her,” said head coach Tom Black. “Kacie does so much and comes in every day eager to find ways to do more. There are so few players, let alone freshmen, who can play all the skills at her level. All she cares about though is the team being successful which speaks to who she is as a person. Huge congratulations to both Meghan and Kacie.”

You can watch Donovan and Evans along with the rest of the Volley Dawgs take on Kentucky on WatchESPN as well as check-in via live stats provided by SideArm.

The Bulldogs also will be hosting No. 24 Missouri on Sunday, November 10th at Stegeman for an early afternoon match at 2:00 p.m. ET.
