UGA 2017 signees Tray Bishop and Nate McBride along with 2019 wide receiver Georgia commit Jadon Haselwood outran the competition on Saturday at the GHSA State Track and Field Championships in Albany, GA.
Nate McBride had a busy day as he competed in the 100-meter and 200-meter dash as well as the 4×100 and 4×400 relays in the GHSA Class 2A for Vidalia Comprehensive. McBride would take home the state title in all four, winning the 100-meter in 10.77 seconds and the 200-meter in 21.71.
Also in attendance in Albany on Saturday was 2017 defensive back signee Tray Bishop, representing the Terrell County Greenwave. Bishop won the GHSA State Class A 100-meter dash with a time of 11.11 seconds despite still not being 100% from an injury he sustained at the end of his junior high school football season.
Not to be underdone, 2019 wide receiver UGA commit, Jadon Haselwood, took home the GHSA Class AAA state title in the 110-meter hurdles with a 14.52 second time for Cedar Grove High School.
