College Football Playoff Announces 2015 Ranking Schedule

[su_spacer size=”20″] The College Football Playoff today approved the recommendations of the College Football Playoff Selection Committee to begin ranking teams on November 3, 2015 and to hold six weekly rankings with the final selection of the four playoff teams to be announced on December 6, 2015.

[su_spacer size=”40″] “College football is booming in popularity.  Fans eagerly await the weekly rankings because they love the competition and want to know how close their team is to making the playoff,” said Bill Hancock, the Executive Director of the College Football Playoff.  “The committee takes its job seriously, it works very hard, and we look forward to beginning the second season of the new College Football Playoff.”
[su_spacer size=”40″] The committee’s mission is to select the best teams, rank the top-25 teams for inclusion in the playoff and selected other bowl games, and then assigns the teams to sites.  Jeff Long, the Athletics Director at the University of Arkansas, was chosen in January to again chair the committee.
