Today’s Other Rule Change – Unlimited Texting of Recruits

While the bans on satellite camps delighted SEC fans and coaches, another rules change passed today deregulates electronic communications with recruits. Get ready parents of recruits; unlimited texting is about to blow up your kid’s phone and force you to get an unlimited plan.

What other electronic communications will be included in this round of deregulation? That is unknown right know, but presumably, all forms of social media contact will be unlimited during time periods when contact is allowed.

Buckle up!

Bulldawg Bob2 Some of those kids will be receiving thousands of text per day.  They won’t have time to read them all.  They will have to get a second phone for their friends and family to actually get in touch with them.

This is both good and bad.

Wonder whose the first recruiting prospect that is going to turn off his phone or better yet, whose parents will?
