After De-Commiting from Alabama, 4-Star Defensive Back Rico McGraw commits to Georgia.
For Rico McGraw, the recruiting process has been a little bit…complicated. The 6 foot 190 pound Corner first committed to Georgia, only to de-commit and join the Crimson Tide’s 2015 class. Fast forward a few months to now, and the highly coveted prospect has done the same thing but returned to Georgia’s 2015 class. It was always a two horse race for McGraw, but his relationship with Defensive Coordinator Jeremy Pruitt was too much for Bama to overcome in the end.
Scouting Report: McGraw has great speed and very loose hips for a guy of his stature. He has very good ball skills and already has good technique when playing in bump-n-run coverage. It is unsure where Coach Pruitt will line him up next fall, but Corner, Safety and the Star position are all legit possibilities. While his position is unsure, one thing is for sure: McGraw is a HUGE pick up for the Dawgs, and will compete for a starting position immediately.
