Each year, at the completion of spring practice, which concluded with the G-Day game over the weekend on Saturday, the University of Georgia awards football players for dedication, improvement, and outstanding performances demonstrated on and off the field during spring camp. Twenty-three UGA football players received spring awards for 2016, but there was no award given for most valuable player, which was offensive lineman Kolton Houston received for 2015.
Six Bulldogs were honored with the Coffee County Hustle Award, which has been awarded to players who exhibit the most desire during spring drills since 1961. This year’s 2016 recipients are:

Lorenzo Carter – OLB – Norcross, Georgia

Malkom Parrish. Jr. – CB – Quitman, Georgia
