1 Ellis Robinson IV (#1, DB)
The No. 2 player in the country has it all. He has been playing at the varsity level since the eighth grade. He became a sensation early in his high school career, and transferred to IMG in his final two years. Although he didn’t play many games at IMG, the potential caught eyes around the entire college football world.
2 Justin Williams (#19, ILB)
The 5-star out of Texas is a beast at the linebacker position that UGA desperately needs. His lean figure gives him the mobility to pursue the ball carrier from sideline to sideline. At 6’2, 205-pound, Williams runs a sub-11 second 100 meter dash.
3 KJ Bolden (#4, DB)
Bolden came out of this year’s high school class as the No. 1 safety for a reason. The 5-star out of Buford High School is simply a pure athlete. Although he is listed as a safety, Bolden was still able to have 1793 All purpose yards throughout his high school career. He also had six career interceptions in 18 games.
4 Chris Cole (#18, ILB)
Chris Cole is another up and coming beast at the linebacker position. The 5-star out of Salem, Virginia has an even bigger frame than teammate Justin Williams. Cole has the new-age linebacker style and is going to be a great fit for the Dawgs defense in the years to come.
5 Nate Frazier (RB)
Nate Frazier is a 4-star running back coming all the way from California. Although his height may be a concerning issue. His strength makes up for it. Coming in at 210 pounds, Frazier is only going to get stronger and faster. It may be a while before he sees substantial playing time, but he will be a key asset to the Dawgs run game in a few years.
6 Daniel Calhoun (#70, OL)
Calhoun was the highest rated trench dawg that UGA had coming in this offseason. His metrics are unreal, standing at 6’7, 365-pound. He is a force to be reckoned with and is one of the biggest recruits that UGA has seen. He has been learning behind some experienced lineman, but he will definitely have a chance to see the field early in his career
7 Joseph Jonah-Ajonye (#99, DE)
The 4-star out of Texas is the perfect frame for the current edge rusher. Standing at 6’4” with a 6’11” wingspan, JJA has the ability to shed blockers easily because of the far reach he creates. He also has a wide pursuit range and can make tackles that no normal DE can make.
8 Demello Jones (#15, DB)
Jones was a multi-sport athlete in high school and did it all for his school in Swainsboro. His athletic ability mixed with his IQ gives him the ability to play whatever position needed. Although he is in a deep defensive back room, don’t be surprised to see him as a standout special teams player.
9 Jordan Thomas (#92, DL)
Jordan Thomas is a 6’5, 320-pound interior defensive lineman. Even though he was continuously double teamed throughout high school, he was still able to record great numbers. He won’t play very much early on in his career, but he will be an anchor on the defense when he starts to get consistent playing time.
10 Jaden Reddell (#23, TE)
With the Brock Bowers era over, UGA is looking for their next TE sensation. Although Reddell doesn’t have any standout qualities, he is able to take advantage of his mismatches well. He has the smooth catching ability of a wide receiver which makes him dangerous on the outside.
11. Ryan Puglisi (#12, QB)
Puglisi wasn’t in the top rankings of incoming quarterbacks for 2024, but many fans feel that he is severely underrated. He has the arm strength and accuracy of any great QB and also has a promising frame. And learning behind veteran Carson Beck will help him tremendously.
12 Nyier Daniels (#79, OL)
Daniels isn’t one of the higher ranked offensive linemen in his recruiting class, but that’s only because he spent most of high school getting used to his enormous frame. Standing at 6’7”, 391 pound, the ceiling for Daniels is way taller than he is. It will be interesting to see how his career plays out and if Kirby can find use for him on a stacked offensive line.
