Richard LeCounte is an athlete for recruiting classification purposes, meaning that he has the ability to be employed at more than the next level. The 5-11/175 rising senior committed to UGA shortly after Kirby Smart was named head coach and was amoung a group of approximately 20 prospects visiting Athens this weekend.
Liberty County High School (near Savannah) was thought to be prime recruiting territory for Ohio State after, a couple of years ago, the Buckeyes successfully lured five-star linebacker Raekwon McMillan away from his home-state flagship university. However, Smart quickly convinced LeCounte to commit to Georgia and vocally recruit for the Dawgs.
