Tyreke Johnson Visited Georgia on Saturday. How’d it Go?

Tyreke Johnson posted on Twitter that he was on his way to Athens on Friday for an unofficial visit at the University of Georgia; so, how did the 2018 defensive back’s visit with the Bulldogs go?

 

 
 
From the updates he posted on his Twitter account, Johnson and his family had a “great time.”
 
 

 
 

 
 
Tyreke is one of over 47 defensive backs that the Georgia coaching staff has offered for 2018. The Bulldogs offered the 6 foot 1.5 and 191 lbs Trinity Christian Academy athlete all the way back in July 2014 after Johnson’s freshman season. He currently has scholarship offers from over 25 programs. Johnson is rated by 247, Rivals and Scout as one of the top 10 safeties and a five-star prospect for 2018.

This visit was not Johnson’s first to UGA. He has also taken unofficial visits to Athens back on July 18th, 2014 as well as October 3, 2015, and last year on June 9th and July 16th. And while a great visit doesn’t guarantee that Johnson will commit to the Bulldogs, it certainly cannot hurt.
