The first week of June saw all but three of the Bulldog’s class of 2017 signees move in and enroll in classes at UGA. Now, there are only two signees left to still enroll as UGASports.com’s Anthony Dasher reported on Friday that Netori Johnson is set to begin classes in July.

Johnson finally cleared the Eligibility Center and has been given the green light by the NCAA to enroll in UGA’s Short Summer Session II semester which will begin on July 3rd. He will look to compete this fall at one of the OG spots, but Johnson has been in Athens getting a head start by working out with his freshmen teammates. The 6 foot 3.25 and 341 lbs offensive guard from Cedar Grove High School out of Ellenwood, GA is one of Georgia’s five offensive linemen the Dogs signed for 2017 which also include D’Marcus Hayes, Justin Shaffer, Andrew Thomas, and Isaiah Wilson.
The Dogs remaining two 2017 signees, Robert Beal, Jr. and DeVonte Wyatt, are still in the process of being cleared through the NCAA Eligibility Center, but if they are cleared by July 5th, they will have the opportunity to join Johnson and the rest of the freshmen in Athens. And what if Beal and Wyatt still have not been cleared by the NCAA to enroll by that date? Then they still have the month of July and would be able to enroll in August for UGA’s Fall Semester, where classes are scheduled to begin on August 14th.
