GILBERT FRIERSON

CLASS: 2018

POSITION: DB – No. 19 CB

HT, WT: 6 foot 1, and 185 lbs

SCHOOL: Coral Gables High School

CITY, STATE: Coral Gables, FL

STATUS: Committed to Miami since 02/23/2016

UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 01/23/2016.

# OFFERS: 15

NEWS & NOTES: Frierson has been committed to the Hurricanes for over a year, but there has been rumors since spring that he is also a potential flip to Georgia. He visited UGA back on May 20th and was in Athens again for the weekend of July 15th. If Kirby Smart and company can pull off flipping Frierson to UGA, it would be a big pick up for the 2018 class for the Dogs. So is there any new news here? Frierson was seen sporting some Georgia gloves during a game, but I don’t know if that means anything or not. Cannot hurt, though. He also recently Tweeted out this for the Bulldogs game versus Tennessee:

KELVIN JOSEPH

CLASS: 2018

POSITION: DB – No. 8 CB

HT, WT: 6 foot 1.5, and 191 lbs

SCHOOL: Scotlandville High School

CITY, STATE: Baton Rouge, LA

STATUS: Undeclared

UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 07/21/2016

# OFFERS: 18

NEWS & NOTES: K. Joseph was offered by the Georgia coaching staff last year on July 21st and at the time, he was already committed to LSU since February 2016. Fast forward a year later, and Joseph decided to re-open up his recruitment and de-committed from the Tiggers on October 2nd… just a couple of days after LSU lost to Troy in Death Valley. So what are the Bulldogs’ chances here? Even thought K. Joseph de-committed from LSU, that doesn’t mean he won’t still consider the in-state school at recommit and sign with the Tigers. He scheduled to visit the other “Death Valley” and Tiger team (Clemson) on November 11th, and they are definitely a school to watch here as is Alabama.
