MONTEZ CROWE
CLASS: 2018
POSITION: Pro-Style QB
HT, WT: 6 foot 5, and 210 lbs
SCHOOL: Troup County High School
CITY, STATE: LaGrange, GA
STATUS: Undeclared
UGA OFFER: No.
# OFFERS: 2
NEWS & NOTES: Crowe looks the part of a Pro QB at 6 foot 5, and as junior last year for Troup Co., he threw for 1,370 yards and 16 TDs to just 5 INTs in 8 games. He needs to improve on his accuracy and completion percentage from last season, but in Troup’s first game of 2017, he certainly showed he could be accurate and put on a show. Montez completed 28-of-38 passes for 415 yards, 3 TDs and did not turn the ball over. Crowe has received some interest, and he has continued to play well, including a 20-of-29 for 525 yards, 8 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions in a 71-16 win over Sandy Creek this past Friday. On the season Crowe has put up some staggering numbers, completing 102 of 152 pass attempts for 2,205 yards, 24 touchdowns, to 8 interceptions. He has definitely improves his completion percentage from 53.7% to 67.1%. Crowe and Troup Co. are off this weekend and will be back at it on October 13th for a road trip to take on LaGrange High School.

JUSTIN FIELDS
CLASS: 2018
POSITION: No. 1 Dual-Threat QB
HT, WT: 6 foot 3, and 221 lbs
SCHOOL: Harrison High School
CITY, STATE: Kennesaw, GA
STATUS: Undeclared
UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 11/18/2016.
# OFFERS: 41
NEWS & NOTES: Fields was offered by the Georgia staff last November, and after de-committing from PSU back on June 6th, the Bulldogs have seen the No. 1 QB of the 2018 class in Athens no less than 5 times between July and September, including back-to-back visits to the Samford and Mississippi State home games on the 16th and 23rd. He also has taken visits to Auburn, Florida, and FSU over the summer, and most recently an official to LSU on Sept. 9th and Alabama this past weekend on Sept. 29th.
I think the Bulldogs are the team to beat here. The senior Harrison High signal-caller has looked the part of the No. 1 QB prospect with his performances so far this season. Fields was 12-for-19 passing for 268 yards and three touchdowns in a 49-0 victory over River Ridge back on Sept. 15th, and on the year, he 58-of-96 passing for 974 yards with 12 touchdowns to just one interception. He has also rushed for 575 yards and 10 touchdowns on 76 carries. That work has put him on the POY Watch List. The Hoyas were off this past weekend and will take on Sprayberry on Friday on Oct. 6th.

NEWS & NOTES: Austin Parker isn’t the biggest QB at 6 foot 0.5 and 180 lbs, but that doesn’t stop the East Hall High School gunslinger from balling on Friday nights. So far this year, Parker has pass the ball for 2,140, which puts in No. 2 in total passing yards in the state of Georgia for the 2017 season just behind Montez Crowe.
East Hall beat Union County 62-42 last weekend to move to 5-1 on the year and will go on the road this weekend to Norcross, GA to face the No. 3 team in Class AAA, Greater Atlanta Christian.
