NEWS & NOTES: Cook was offered by Georgia at the first of last year, and fast forward to 2017, UGA found itself in his top 8. Cook visited the Dogs on April 8th and a few months later, de-committed from FSU on July 4th. After his de-commitment, he was back in Athens with his family during the weekend of July 22nd. Cook is expected to decide between UGA and FSU when he makes his final decision, but as of right now, he is a big Bulldog lean and Georgia is considered the leader here. Cook took an official visit to UGA back on Sept. 23red for Georgia’s game versus Mississippi State and had a very, very good time.
And how is Cook’s senior season going? He and Miami-Central moved to 7-1 on the season with a 44-14 road win over Blanche Ely High School this past Friday night. And they are back on the road this Friday at Hialeah, FL to take on a winless Hialeah-Miami Lakes team.

NEWS & NOTES: Georgia offered Ingram yesterday, on October 9th. The talented Carthage, TX football player has over 30 offers, considered one of the top 10 running backs in the 2018 class, and has been committed to Texas since the end of May. It’s an interesting offer considering the Bulldogs already have a commitment from the No. 1 tailback in the class in Zamir White and are expected to land the No. 3 back in James Cook. Does this mean that they might not land Cook? I don’t think so. Unless something has drastically changed in the last couple of weeks in his recruitment, UGA is still heavy favorites here. Is it possible that Georgia might take 3 RB’s in the 2018 class? I think that is a long shot given the recruiting numbers, but if they were able to pull off flipping Ingram and landing Cook and White, that would be a huge recruiting boon for Tail Back U.

NEWS & NOTES: After favoring Georgia for a good part of his recruiting process, Zamir ‘the Zeus’ White committed to the Bulldogs on June 26th. The No. 1 RB in the country for the class of 2018 has looked the part this season. In Scotland High School’s six games, White has rushed for 1,090 yards on 78 carries, averaging an eye-popping 13.97 yards per carry. White and the (5-1) Fighting Scots have 4 games left on their regular season schedule before the state of North Carolina high school football playoffs begin and are tied for first place with Seventy-First in the Sandhills 4A classification, which is the team next up on Scotland High School’s schedule. That game is set for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff on Friday, October 13th.

NEWS & NOTES: Crouch is another very talented RB out of the state of North Carolina. UGA offered THE Harding University High School phenom last fall on November 4th. Like 2018 RB Zamir White, Crouch is already built like he is a SEC tailback at 6 foot 1.5 and 224 lbs.
