ADAM ANDERSON
CLASS: 2018
POSITION: No. 2 OLB
HT, WT: 6 foot 4.5, and 214 lbs
SCHOOL: Rome High School
CITY, STATE: Rome, GA
STATUS: Undeclared.
UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 02/20/2016
# OFFERS: 6
NEWS & NOTES: Anderson was offered by Georgia in February of last year. He had been committed to UGA at one point, but de-committed from the Bulldogs on April 22nd and on the same day, he committed to LSU. But he then de-committed from the Tigers on July 6th. After he reopened up his recruitment, Anderson took a lot of visits at the end of July, including one to UGA back on July 21st after Tennessee on July 20th. Anderson also visited Alabama on July 22nd, then Clemson on the 24th, and Auburn on July 30th. The Rome LB/DE was back in Athens for the Dawgs’ game against Mississippi State on Sept. 23rd. Right now, it looks like this is an Alabama vs. Georgia battle for Anderson, and he Tweeted out on Tuesday his decision was coming soon. There is speculation that it could come as early as Thursday (Oct. 19th).
Anderson’s senior season has only reinforced his ranking, as he has 35 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, nine sacks, two forced fumbles and two pass breakups through six games (his stats do not include Rome’s Friday night, 49-0, win over Cass) and is up for the Player of the Year award. Anderson and Rome are undefeated on the year at 7-0. Up next for the Wolves, the (4-4) Villa Rica Wildcats come to town.

OTIS REESE
CLASS: 2018
POSITION: LB – No. 9 OLB
HT, WT: 6 foot 4, and 206 lbs
SCHOOL: Lee County High School
CITY, STATE: Leesburg, GA
STATUS: Committed to Michigan 06/18/2016
UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 12/07/2016
# OFFERS: 17
NEWS & NOTES: Reese was offered back at the end of last year in December by UGA. He visited Georgia in the spring in March and was back in Athens for the Bulldogs’ season opener vs. Appalachian State on Sept. 2nd. Reese has been committed to Michigan for over a year, but I’ve put him on flip watch along with a number of other recruiting analyst. He would be a big-time flip for Georgia, too, as the talented Lee County football player is very much in the mold of current UGA linebacker Roquan Smith and former backers/safeties, Thomas Davis and Alec Ogletree. And if you are following the visits, Reese was back in Athens over the weekend for Georgia’s homecoming versus Missouri.
Reese and Lee County are still undefeated, getting their eighth win on Friday in a close, hard-fought affair, 16-13 over Northside-Warner Robins. Depending on which poll you look at, Lee Co. is either No. 1 or No. 2 in Class 6A. Next up for the Trojans is a road date with the (2-5) Valdosta Wildcats.

POSITION: LB – No. 1 OLB
HT, WT: 6 foot 1, and 207 lbs
SCHOOL: Grayson High School
CITY, STATE: Loganville, GA
STATUS: Undeclared
UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 06/05/2015.
# OFFERS: 41
NEWS & NOTES: Pappoe has held an offer from UGA for a couple of years. The Peach State 2019 OLB phenom has also visited Athens a number of times and including a couple of visits to Georgia over the summer in July. More recently, Pappoe has been back to Athens to visit for Georgia’s Sept. 23rd game against Mississippi State and over the weekend for their homecoming game against Missouri. On May 4th, he released a top 10 that included UGA, Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, FSU, LSU, Nebraska, Ohio State, and Tennessee. Georgia has impressed Pappoe of late and could be in the position to be the front-runner here.
Pappoe and Grayson entered their Region 8, Class 7A game with Archer on Friday a perfect 6-0 on the year and ranked No. 1 in the Peach State. But Archer had other plans and handed the Rams their first loss in a defensive struggle 6-3. Pappoe and the Rams will look to rebound on the road Friday when they travel to Convington to face (5-2) Newton.

TREZMEN MARSHALL
CLASS: 2019
POSITION: LB – No. 3 Athlete
HT, WT: 6 foot 1, and 236 lbs
SCHOOL: Clinch County High School
CITY, STATE: Homerville, GA
STATUS: Undeclared
UGA OFFER: Yes, offered on 06/11/2016.
# OFFERS: 12
NEWS & NOTES: Georgia offered Trezmen Marshall last June and the talented Clinch County athlete was in Athens over the weekend for Georgia’s homecoming game versus Missouri. Marshall’s recruiting is wide open, but Georgia is considered a front-runner here; although, it is a long ways off till NSD 2019. So what position will Trezmen play in college? While he is a talented running back, he looks to be a playmaker on defense at linebacker. Marshall and Clinch County are 5-2 on the year in Region 2, Class A ball and will be on the road on Friday to take on (1-6) Lanier County.
