TODAY’S FEATURED PROSPECTS

Ryan Hilinski

CLASS: 2019

POSITION: PRO QB

HT, WT: 6-3.5, 218

SCHOOL: Orange Lutheran High School

CITY, STATE: Orange, California

STATUS: Undeclared

# OF OFFERS: 18 offers

UGA OFFER:  Yes, February 21, 2018

NEWS:

Ryan Hilinski is a four-star prostyle quarterback from Orange Lutheran High School in Orange California. He ranks as the No. 8 PRO QB and No. 37 prospect in California. Hilinski has a cannon for an arm. He threw for 3,767 yards last season and 33 touchdowns. His throws are crisp and accurate and can place them where only his receivers can snag them. Hilinski has good field vision and can see a play develop to quickly make a play happen. He isn’t afraid to stay in the pocket and take a hit if necessary. Hilinski is an energetic quarterback and likes to make ballsy plays. I noticed he isn’t afraid to tuck it and run either.

Hilinski holds 18 offers, including one from Georgia this past February. He visited Georgia on February 21 and came away with an offer from the Bulldogs.  Oregon and Ole Miss appear to be in the lead for the quarterback, but I feel like this will be a National Signing Day decision. Georgia needs to get this guy back on campus, he’s a diamond in the ruff.

Austin Kirksey

CLASS: 2019

POSITION: PRO QB

HT, WT: 6-3 195

SCHOOL: Walton High School

CITY, STATE: Marietta, Georgia

STATUS: Undeclared

# OF OFFERS: 2 offers

UGA OFFER: No

NEWS:

Austin Kirksey is a three-star pro-style quarterback from Walton High School in Marietta, Georgia. He ranks as the No. 22 pro-style quarterback and the No. 68 prospect in Georgia. Kirksey has a nice arm, and the ability to make plays with the long ball. He does need some work on the crispness, but with the right development, he could be molded into a great game manager. Kirksey sees the field well and anticipates well. He isn’t afraid to tuck it and run either. Kirksey isn’t the fastest quarterback with his feet, but he makes up with his strength. It takes one or two guys to take him down when he does tuck it. He shows a lot of potential and with the right guidance, could turn into a quarterback at the next level and beyond.

Kirksey holds just two offers from UAB and Nevada, but it wouldn’t surprise me if more isn’t on the way. He visited Georgia back in September and I expect him to be back on campus this summer. Georgia needs another quarterback to give the position some depth and Kirksey has the basic skills to be a great addition and back up to Fromm and Fields. With the right development, he could be a great starter too. His recruitment is wide open, but keep your eyes peeled for this one as his recruitment should blow up in the next few months heading into camp and football season.
