Georgia women’s basketball team hosted an NCAA watch party in Stegeman Coliseum. The team received the news that they would be a No.4 seed in the tournament after going 25-6 on the season and falling to South Carolina 71-49 in the semifinals.

The Bulldogs gathered in the Coliseum to watch the selection show on the jumbo screen. Media members and only a select view got to come to the event. Georgia found out they would face Mercer on Saturday at 1:30 in Stegeman Coliseum. The game will be a part of the Albany Regional, with No. 1 seed Connecticut headling this quarter of the bracket.
Georgia and Mercer faced off against each other on Nov. 19 with the Bulldogs winning 72-54. Since then the Bears have only lost one other game as they went 30-2 on the season.
Whoever wins the game on Saturday will face the winner of No. 5 Duke and No. 12 Belmont the following Monday.
