Members of the Bulldawg Illustrated team made score predictions for today’s game against LSU. See what each member had to say.

A game that will hold important special teams implications awaits us in Baton Rouge. Hot Rod will have a splendid outing going 2 for 2 on field goals and 4 for 4 on PAT’s. The swamp people of Louisiana will be itching for vengeance after their loss to Florida last week. It will be a daunting task for the Bulldogs in Death Valley, but we will come out on top 34-30. Behind Fromm’s 250+ passing yards and 200+ rushing yards from all running backs, the Dawgs will remain undefeated heading into the much-needed bye week.

Last season the only game I picked the Dawgs to lose was on the road at Auburn. I am getting a very similar vibe from this game. LSU is a desperate team heading into Saturday’s contest and “the real Death Valley” will be rocking. While LSU lacks depth, a majority of their starters are studs and they play a physical brand of football the Dawgs have yet to see this year. It is going to be a low scoring, physical slugfest with LSU pounding the rock all day long against depleted Georgia defensive line. This is a game where we find out if the Dawgs front seven in “man enough”. I don’t think they are yet. LSU 23 – Georgia 20.

Not a night game signifies to me less of a tough spot, way less. After two road blowouts in two tries, Smart breaks his winless at the SEC West streak 27-24 Saturday.
Jeff Dantzler:
Very tight, Dawgs -26, LSU-24. If Tigers win, Georgia could recover like last year at Auburn.
Greg Poole:
I don’t know what to expect from LSU. Yes, the place will be loud and the crowd will be bat-bleep crazy, but fans don’t play and Georgia has a leadership core that has played (and won) big games before. So, I’m going with the guys who have been there/done that.

This week I went back and forth with my score prediction. At first, I thought it would be a tight game and the Bulldogs would show their youth. However, after seeing the team practice and watching LSU film, I think Georgia could blow out the Tigers. It seems we have yet to see what Georgia can do and this is the weekend we finally see it. Georgia made teams quit last season, and this is the game where that switch flips and the team makes the Tigers quit in front of their home crowd.
Georgia beats LSU in Baton Rouge 45-17 and the Bulldogs improve to 7-0 heading into the bye week.

LSU is a talented team, but it’s not on the same level as Georgia especially offensively. Joe Burrow is half the Quarterback that Jake Fromm is and I expect that to show today. LSU keeps it relatively close, but the Dawgs pull away late 31-20.
