KELLEN MOND (QB, #11)

This 6-3, 217-pound junior out of San Antonio has been a three-year starter for the Aggies. Following a sophomore season in 2018 when he threw for 3,107 yards and 24 touchdowns including a 430-yard, 3-touchdown performance against then No. 2-ranked Clemson, Mond has continued to challenge the Texas A&M record books this season as he entered this past weekend’s South Carolina game with 2,214 passing yards and 17 touchdowns, while completing 64 percent of his attempts. In a 47-28 loss to then top-ranked Alabama, Mond passed for 264 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for 90 yards and another score. The Aggies’ second-leading rusher this season, this guy is a dangerous pass/run quarterback and Georgia’s SEC-leading defense will have to be at its very best Saturday between the hedges.

ISAIAH SPILLER (RB, #28)

Just a freshman, Spiller (6-1, 220) is far and away the Aggies’ leading ball carrier this season as he entered the game against South Carolina with nearly 700 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground while averaging just over six yards per carry. Also an outstanding receiver for Texas A&M out of the backfield, Spiller jolted the University of Texas at San Antonio for 217 yards and three touchdowns on Nov. 2. Along with QB Kellen Mond, this is an Aggie the Bulldogs will have to contend with at Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium.

BUDDY JOHNSON (OLB, #1)

Easily Texas A&M’s leading tackler this fall, the 6-2, 228-pound Johnson had recorded 58 stops, eight tackles-for-loss and one sack as the Aggies moved against South Carolina this past Saturday. A junior outside ‘backer, Johnson was credited with 11 tackles in the loss to Alabama. The Bulldogs’ O-linemen will need to neutralize the ball-hawking Johnson in Saturday’s key Southeastern Conference tilt.

JUSTIN MADUBUIKE (DT, #52)

This 6-3, 304-pound junior, who is a 5-star recruit out of McKinney, Texas, is another of Texas A&M’s stalwart defenders the Georgia offense must deal with Saturday afternoon and early evening. Prior to the kickoff against the Gamecocks, Madubuike had notched 8.5 tackles-for-loss, 3.5 QB sacks and also had intercepted a pass. Like Johnson, he is capable of winning the one-on-one battles with offensive linemen and causing havoc in opposing backfields.

JHAMON AUSBON (WR, #2)

This is Kellen Mond’s favorite target. The 6-2, 228-pound junior entered this past weekend with 51 catches for 698 yards and three touchdowns. Ausbon has posted back-to-back 100-yard receiving games this season with one being against the Auburn Tigers when he totaled eight receptions for 111 yards. The Houston native has the ability to pull in a short pass and turn it into a touchdown and owns the speed to get behind opposing secondaries. Georgia’s defensive backs can’t allow Ausbon to chalk up another 100-yard game on Saturday.

JIMBO FISHER (Head Coach)

Being named head coach of the Aggies prior to the 2018 season, Fisher posted a 9-4 record in his first year in College Station and had steered Texas A&M to a 6-3 mark this season entering the home date with South Carolina this past Saturday. Fisher came to A&M after coaching eight years at Florida State where he recorded an 83-23 record. When Bobby Bowden retired after the 2009 season, Fisher became the Seminoles’ first new coach in 35 years and only the ninth in school history. Going against Georgia for the first time Saturday, Fisher will surely have the Aggies motivated to pull off the upset of the Bulldogs.
