2021 prospective student-athlete Deion Colzie released his top-10 schools on Sunday. The list included UGA along with Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee, and Virginia.
The 6-foot-4 and 205 lbs rising senior plays just down the road from the University of Georgia at Athens Academy where he not only competes at wide receiver but also at cornerback on defense.
The Bulldogs offered Colzie back in April of last year.
And it is no surprise that the Georgia coaching staff didn’t miss a chance to offer the talented two-sport athlete in their backyard. In addition to football, Colzie also competes in varsity high school basketball for the Spartans out of Athens.
At The Opening Regionals in May last spring in Nashville, TN, he posted a 4.56-second forty and a 4.25-second shuttle to go along with a 3-foot vertical. 247Sports currently rates Colzie as a 4-star prospect, the No. 5 wide receiver, No. 4 player from the state of Georgia, and No. 45 recruit overall in the country for 2021. Rivals also rates Colzie as a 4-star prospect at WR and have him as the No. 11 WR, the No. 7 player from the Peach State, and the No. 73 player overall nationally. ESPN echoes both 247 and Rivals rating Colzie as a four-star prospect and a top-100 prospect for 2021.
