St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School wide receiver Malcolm Johnson, Jr. was offered a scholarship by the University of Georgia back in March.
Johnson now has over 29 scholarship offers so far, and he holds offers from programs that include Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Ohio State, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia to name a few.
Just a couple of weeks ago back on May 27th, Johnson released a top-eight that included the Bulldogs along with Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Maryland, Southern California, and Texas.
And Georgia is showing the 6-foot-1 and 185 lbs rising senior some “love” on social media lately as well with this edit from Monday to start the week.
In addition to playing at wide receiver for the Saints out of Alexandria, VA he also competes at cornerback on defense. On offense, Johnsone hauled in 47 receptions for 832 yards and 7 touchdowns as a junior in 2019. He also competes in track and field. This past December at the DCIAA Indoor Invitational in Prince George’s County, Maryland, Johnson took first in the 55-meter sprint with a time of 6.44 seconds and also took first in the 200-meter event with a time of 22.19.
247Sports rates the 6-foot-1 and 185 lbs athlete a four-star prospect at wide receiver. 247 rank Johnson as a top-200 prospect overall nationally currently, the No. 38 wide receiver, and the No. 6 player out of the state of Maryland for the 2021 recruiting class. ESPN and Rivals also rate Johnson a four-star prospect at receiver.
